Terms of use
These terms are short on purpose. By downloading or using Wakeful you agree to them.
Apple's standard license applies
Wakeful is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). That agreement governs your use of the app. These terms add a few points specific to Wakeful.
Not medical advice
Wakeful is a tracking tool, not medical advice. It never suggests, calculates or changes doses. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
Wakeful records what you enter and reminds you at the times you set. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Do not rely on Wakeful as your only way to wake for a dose: keep a backup plan your doctor agrees with, and contact your doctor about any question about your medicine or symptoms. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Alarms depend on your device
Dose alarms use Apple's AlarmKit and need iOS 26 or later and alarm permission. They can fail to ring if the phone is off, out of battery, muted at the hardware level, set to a very low alarm volume, or if permission is turned off. Test your alarm and check your settings.
Wakeful Plus
Dose alarms and logging are free. Wakeful Plus is an auto-renewing subscription at $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year (US prices; local prices may differ), charged to your Apple ID. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in the Settings app under your name > Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Your data
Your data belongs to you and stays on your device unless you turn on iCloud backup or share it. See the privacy policy.
